About

I have more than two decades’ experience of photography in the UK and abroad.

I started my career as a staff photographer, working for magazine publisher Emap (now Bauer Media). The work was incredibly varied, covering golf, fishing, athletics, equestrian and hill walking. After 12 years becoming a freelance felt like a natural progression.

Since then I’ve developed a very varied client list including national magazines, commercial clients and organisations such as The Wildlife Trusts and Kidney Research UK. I offer clients not only still photography but also more recently filming and videography.

The variety of work I tackle has given me a large skill set to draw on and as result I am able to adapt very easily to a changing situation and client requirements. A typical week sees me at the top of mountain one day, photographing a riding lesson the next, taking portraits for an annual report and finally shooting products in the studio. It’s this variety which keeps me passionate about what I do.
